In certain (sales related) situations, sales people become uncertain.

It shows when their communication is filled with what I call “hesitation-words”.

Words that express their doubt, or hesitation, about what they are saying.


The next sentence is not something I came up with, but is actually a phrase used by a sales person in a conversation with a prospect.


“I’m going to try, eventually, to present my company a little bit so you can get a little insight in what we are trying to do, more or less.”


You can imagine the prospect being doubtfully curious about what was to come, eventually, I guess.
